This class meets CA licensed childcare 8 hour EMSA requirements. This course will provide students with the basic skills and knowledge to recognize and help a victim in need. Students will learn adult/child/infant CPR, AED use, basic first aid abd obstructed airway (choking) relief techniques. The course will also cover prevention of injury and illness, bloodborne pathogens, universal precautions, injury and illness assessments, signs, symptoms, and treatment for many emergencies.
